Zerger & Mauer Attorneys Chosen for Inclusion in the 2015 Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers Listings

Heather Zerger and Steve Mauer have been chosen for inclusion in the latest edition of the Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers listings for 2015. Every year Super Lawyers selects attorneys from all firm sizes and over 70 practice areas throughout the United States and London through a detailed selection process. Only five percent of the lawyers in the state are named to Super Lawyers while no more than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list, an honor reserved for those lawyers who exhibit excellence in practice and are under the age of 40 or have been in practice for 10 years or less.

Zerger earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota in 1999. Prior to co-founding Zerger & Mauer LLP in 2011 with Steve Mauer, she was a partner at Bryan Cave LLP. Her experience includes defending class actions and commercial trials representing plaintiffs. She is also experienced in employment litigation and counseling.

Mauer is a civil trial lawyer who focuses his practice on commercial litigation. Prior to Zerger & Mauer, he was a long-time partner with an international firm where he represented a variety of businesses and municipalities as plaintiffs and defendants. He currently serves as the primary trial lawyer for several banks and public entities.

The Super Lawyers list will appear in the 2015 Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers magazine as well as the November 2015 issue of KC Magazine. For more information, visit www.superlawyers.com.
